Riding Rock has been one of San Salvador’s island resorts since the 1960s. Today, they are one of only two oceanfront resorts located on the island making them a unique place to stay in the Bahamas. Whether you need help booking a flight or want to charter a fishing boat, we can help you with all your vacation needs. We can offer some of our favorite local spots to visit and help you find fun activities to enjoy during your off time. Whatever you may need, our friendly staff is there for you. All-inclusive Packages Available
At Riding Rock, we make it easy for you to choose a San Salvador island resort by offering both diver and non-diver packages inclusive of airport transfers, room, taxes, three meals a day, serving amazing Bahamian and American cuisines, and 3 dives a day. Depending on your personal preferences, you can choose an all-inclusive dive package complete with 3 guided dives a day, or opt for the all-inclusive non-diver package for a lesser price! With this bundle, you get everything that’s included in the dive package, minus the diving. Not included are alcoholic beverages, some non-alcoholic drinks, and staff gratuities. Night dives are booked upon request.

Several Amazing Diving Locations
There are more than 30 amazing dive sites located near our San Salvador island resort. While most of them consist of diving walls, we do have some swim-throughs and caverns, featuring a wide variety of both large and small creatures that will surely grab your attention. Some of our most popular dive sites include La Crevasse which has endless tunnels and crevices to explore and Shark Alley which has large coral heads and is largely populated by several shark species. Other nearby dive sites include Riding Rock Wall, Shangrila, Vicky’s Reef, Hole in the Wall, and Double Caves – each with its own unique and fascinating appeal. Deep-Sea Fishing Opportunities
Marina Anglers from all over the world have discovered the marine wilderness of San Salvador. World record Blue Marlin, Wahoo, Dolphin, Kingfish, and Tuna cruise the deep blue waters just minutes from the Riding Rock docks. Bahamas Deep Sea fishing is offered for 1/2 and full day charters on our 28′ boat, Odyssey III. Tackle, bait, and water are provided, and with advanced notice, we’re also able to prepare snacks and meals for a small additional charge, or feel free to bring your own food and drinks along!
